I started to wonder what the Earth would look like with out the Moon. Well first of all if we go off the theory that the Moon is actually a fragment of the planet Thea that crashed into Earth early in Earth's history. If we imagine that the Thea crash never ever happened then Earth wouldn't have as much water as it has now because Thea brought most of the water to Earth, but Earth would still have water because it got some water from asteroids that pelleted its surface with ice. The Moon also causes most of the Earth's tides.
The most important thing that would be missing if the Moon had never existed is.... Eclipses... just kidding although eclipses are cool to look at they aren't necessary to Earth.
